If you are looking for nourishing ways to hydrate on a hot day, then this watermelon aloe slushy is a perfect choice! It is super hydrating and full of beautifying vitamins and antioxidants. It also looks pretty and tastes like summer!
Aloe vera is one of the oldest healing remedies. It’s rich in vitamins, enzymes, minerals, lignans, salicylic and amino acids. It’s well known for its antibacterial, anti-inflammatory properties. When taken orally, it helps to soothe the gut and has been proven to increase collagen production and improve skin elasticity.

Watermelon is one of the most hydrating fruits in the world! And one of the unique sources has readily available cis-isomeric lycopene, a powerful antioxidant that protects the skin from photo-damage and environmental pollutants. It is also rich in Vit C, carotenoids and flavonoids. Combined with strawberries that are also high in antioxidants and ellagic acid, they make a powerful duo which fights to prevent collagen destruction.
INGREDIENTS:

Small or medium size of fresh aloe (washed and cut)
2 cups of frozen seedless watermelon
